  • Candles are wrapped in pink/gold metallic braided trim and accented with pink satin bows. Keepsake crosses are attached to each candle's bow. (Please note that cross designs may change due to availability.)
  • This handmade design can be purchased as a set (one 24” lambatha and two 17” candles) or individually in both sizes.
  • In a Greek Baptism, the godparent (“nonos” or “nona”) holds the 24” candle. The 17” candles are small enough to be easily held by children or any other participant going around the font.
  • After the Baptism sacrament, the larger candle is used for the three Sundays following Baptism when the newly baptized receives Holy Communion.
  • The 24” candle has a 1” diameter. 17” candles have a  ¾” diameter.
  • Candles burn at the rate of approximately 1” per hour and are smoke and drip resistant.
