Wedding Hand Cloth - Serbian Peskir
In most Serbian Orthodox Weddings, a beautiful matrimonial cloth (sometimes referred to as a “hand-tie” or “Peskir”) is used to join together the right hands of the bride and groom. After the crowning, a prayer is said, asking God to unite the couple as one. At this time, the hands of the couple will be tied together by the priest.
When creating the designs of our Hand Cloths, we use a variety of both U.S based and European imported materials. We combine well-coordinated fabrics to create elegant designs. We take into consideration the desires of the bride and groom, the newest design trends, and the overall beauty that should be displayed on your wedding day.
Along with other keepsakes from your special day, you can display the wedding cloths in the Icon area of your home to cherish for years after.
