  • Candles are wrapped in ivory satin cord and are embellished with a large ivory bow.
  • This design can be purchased as a set (One 24” Lambada and Two 17” Candles) or individually in both sizes.
  • As an option, you may add a cross or icon on the candles.
  • In a Greek Baptism, the godparent (“nonos” or “nona”) holds the 24” candle. The 17” candles are small enough to be easily held by children or any other participant going around the font.
  • After the Baptism sacrament, the larger candle is used for the three Sundays following Baptism when the newly baptized receives Holy Communion.
  • The 24” candle has a 1 ½” diameter. The 17” candles have a ¾” diameter.
