  • These baptism candles are wrapped in a soft white velvet ribbon and decorated with a soft white bow, elegantly accented with a pearl strand center.
  • This handmade design can be purchased as a set (One 25” Lambada and Two 17” Candles) or individually in both sizes.
  • The 25” candle has a 1 ¼” diameter. The 17” candles have a  ¾” diameter.
  • Candles burn at the rate of approximately 1” per hour and are smoke and drip-resistant.
  • These hand-dipped taper candles are created from a blend of superior quality paraffin wax with a pure cotton wick for a slow and calm burn.
  • In a Greek Baptism, the godparent (“nonos” or “nona”) holds the larger candle. The 17” candles are small enough to be easily held by children or any other participant going around the font.
  • The larger candle is lit for the three consecutive Sundays following the Baptism when the newly baptized receive Holy Communion.

Stefanothiki and Wedding Items

My son and daughter-in-law were married in October. Dahlia did candles, boubounieres, stefania for the wedding. Everything was beautiful! I was impressed with the quality and how fast everything arrived. The clothes were already washed and had a wonderful scent. The candles were wrapped very well, came completely fine. I made a mistake with an order the customer service replied and corrected it right away. I highly recommend this service.
